1. General

These Terms and Conditions of the Starboard Windshop online store are prepared in accordance with the applicable legislation of the Republic of Slovenia and the European Union, in particular the Consumer Protection Act (ZVPot-1).

2. Availability of Information

The provider undertakes to always provide the customer with the following information:

  • company identity
  • contact details
  • essential product characteristics
  • prices (including VAT)
  • delivery and payment terms
  • validity of offers

3. Prices

All prices are stated in euros (EUR) and include VAT unless explicitly stated otherwise.

Prices are valid at the time the order is placed and may be changed without prior notice.


4. Order Process

The customer places an order through the online store, which represents a non-binding inquiry and not a binding purchase.

After the order is placed, the provider contacts the customer regarding:

  • product availability
  • delivery time
  • final offer

A contract between the provider and the customer is concluded only after the customer confirms the offer (e.g. payment of a pro forma invoice or written confirmation via email).


5. Payment Methods

The available payment method is:

  • bank transfer (prepayment based on pro forma invoice)

The provider sends payment instructions to the customer. The order is processed once payment has been received.


6. Product Availability

The provider strives to ensure accurate product availability information; however, availability may vary depending on suppliers.

Stock information on the website is indicative only. Products may not be physically in stock with the provider but may be held by suppliers or in the supply chain.

Delivery times may range from a few days to several months. The exact delivery time is communicated after order placement.


7. Delivery

The provider ships goods after payment has been received and within the agreed timeframe.

Delivery is carried out by a contracted shipping provider (e.g. courier service).

Shipping costs are communicated to the customer before order confirmation or included in the final offer approved by the customer.


8. Nature of Online Offer

Product listings on the website constitute an invitation to make an offer and do not represent a binding offer.

An order placed by the customer represents an inquiry based on which the provider prepares a final offer. A contract is concluded only once the customer confirms the offer.


9. Right of Withdrawal

The customer (consumer) has the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days of receiving the goods without providing any reason.

The customer must notify the provider of withdrawal at:

The goods must be returned no later than 14 days after notifying withdrawal.

The customer bears the cost of return shipping.


10. Refunds

The provider shall refund all payments received no later than 14 days after receiving the withdrawal notice. The provider may withhold the refund until the returned goods are received.


11. Complaints and Defects

The customer may claim a complaint in case of:

  • damaged product
  • incorrect product delivery
  • product not matching the description

The customer must notify the provider of the defect within 5 days of discovery and allow inspection of the product.

In case of a justified complaint, the customer is entitled to:

  • product replacement
  • repair
  • refund

12. Liability

The provider strives to ensure accuracy and timeliness of information but does not accept liability for any errors.


13. Personal Data Protection

Personal data protection is governed by the Privacy Policy available on the website.


14. Complaints and Disputes

The provider complies with applicable consumer protection legislation.

In case of disputes, the provider strives for amicable resolution.

Legal disputes shall be settled before the competent court in Slovenia.


15. Alternative Dispute Resolution (ODR)

In accordance with legislation, the provider does not recognize any alternative dispute resolution provider as competent for resolving disputes.

16. Changes to Terms and Conditions

The provider reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes take effect upon publication on the website.
